Manufacturing Innovation Recharge Center Services

MAGIC provides fee-based research and testing services that support materials development, prototyping, and advanced manufacturing. Services are available to academic users, students, and external partners. The Manufacturing Innovation Recharge Center is directed by Dr. Leila Ladani and provides advanced equipment, technical expertise, and testing capabilities to support both academic and non-academic users.

If you are interested in equipment rates, service details, or scheduling, please contact Dr. Ladani directly.

Materials Characterization & Analysis

We offer characterization services to evaluate material structure, thermal behavior, and surface properties. These services support the development, quality assessment, and performance evaluation of materials.

Services include:

  • Non-destructive X-ray imaging and internal structure analysis

  • Thermal analysis and thermal conductivity measurements

  • Electrical conductivity measurements

  • Surface roughness and surface quality evaluation

Mechanical & Multi-Scale Testing

We provide mechanical testing services across multiple length scales to assess material strength, deformation, and durability under various conditions.

Services include:

  • Tensile and compressive testing
  • Fatigue and cyclic loading tests
  • Micro- and nano-scale mechanical property evaluation.
  • Full-field strain and deformation measurement
  • Mechanical testing in liquid and high-temperature environments

Additive Manufacturing & Prototyping

We support rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing through additive manufacturing services and custom material development.

Services include:

  • High-temperature polymer 3D printing

  • Fabrication of functional and research-grade prototypes
