Dr. Leila Ladani

Professor, School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy

Dr. Leila Ladani is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Arizona State University and serves as Director of the NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) in Medical Device Manufacturing and Design. She is an internationally recognized leader in advanced and multiscale manufacturing and the mechanics of materials, an ASME Fellow, and has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and patents with support from major federal agencies including the National Science Foundation and NASA.

Dr. Jafar Razmi

Associate Research Professor, School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy Arizona State University

Dr. Jafar Razmi is a Research Professor at Arizona State University and serves as the NSF Industrial Liaison Officer for the NSF Engineering Research Center (ERC). He brings extensive industry and academic experience in mechanical and civil engineering, manufacturing, and additive manufacturing research, with a focus on material behavior and structural performance.
