The Manufacturing Innovation Recharge Center provides mechanical testing services for researchers, industry partners and government organizations. Our capabilities include tensile, compression, fatigue, hardness and multiscale mechanical testing to evaluate the performance, durability and reliability of engineering materials and manufactured components. These services support metals, polymers, ceramics, composites and additively manufactured materials for research, product development and quality assessment.

Tensile testing
Measure the tensile strength, elastic behavior and deformation of engineering materials under controlled loading conditions. This service can be performed at ambient conditions, elevated temperatures or in liquid environments to evaluate material performance under realistic service conditions.

Micro-tensile testing
Evaluate the tensile behavior of miniature specimens and microscale structures for research applications where conventional mechanical testing is not practical. This service support materials research, quality control and product development.

Nanoindentation
Measure hardness and elastic modulus at the nanoscale using instrumented indentation techniques. Nanoindentation provides localized mechanical property measurements for coatings, thin films, microstructures and advanced engineering materials.
