XRADIA 520 Versa
The Xradia 520 Versa is a high-resolution 3D X-ray microscope designed for nondestructive imaging of complex materials. It allows researchers to visualize internal microstructures, from microscale to submicron resolution, making it ideal for studying composites, metals, polymers, biological samples, and additively manufactured parts.
TA SDT650
The TA Instruments SDT650 is a simultaneous differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis (DSC-TGA) system. It measures heat flow and mass change in a material as a function of temperature, enabling precise thermal characterization of polymers, metals, ceramics, and composites.
TYTRON 250
The Tytron 250 Microforce Testing System is a precision mechanical testing instrument designed for low-force tensile, compression, and fatigue testing. It is ideal for small components, biomedical samples, thin films, and advanced materials requiring controlled micro-newton to low-kilonewton loading.
Questar QM 100
The Questar QM 100 Long-Distance Microscope provides high-magnification imaging at extended working distances. It allows detailed optical observation of surfaces, micro-features, and dynamic processes without interfering with the sample environment, useful for materials experiments, manufacturing processes, and thermal or mechanical testing setups.
Bausch & Lomb Microscope
The Bausch & Lomb Compound Microscope is a high-quality optical microscope used for bright-field imaging of microstructures in polymers, metals, ceramics, and biological samples. It provides clear visualization of morphology, defects, and material features at the microscale.
Leco VC50
The Leco VC50 Vacuum Control System is designed to support metallographic sample preparation by managing vacuum levels for specimen mounting. It improves the embedding quality of fragile or porous materials, ensuring reliable cross-sectional imaging and analysis.
DLF-2 with EM-1600
The DLF-2 Laser Flash Apparatus with EM-1600 attachment measures thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity of solid materials. Using a short laser pulse, it determines how quickly heat propagates through metals, ceramics, polymers, and composites, key for studying thermal management and advanced manufacturing materials.
