We are pleased to share our latest publication, “Process Mapping in Metal Powder Bed Fusion Through Theoretical Analysis”
This work introduces a theoretical approach for rapidly evaluating process conditions and predicting common defects in metal powder bed fusion. By leveraging analytical relationships rather than computationally intensive simulations, the framework provides an efficient pathway for process mapping and manufacturing optimization.
The study was led by Dr. Leila Ladani with significant contributions from the student Vi Ho, who supported the theoretical development and validation of the methodology.
